BoldTrail pricing is not on a price list. Inside Real Estate, the company behind kvCORE, does not publish one. Every number you see on page one of Google is either a third-party estimate or an old kvCORE figure.
That is not a scandal. It is how enterprise software gets sold. But it means you walk into the demo with no anchor, and the quote you get depends on seats, modules, your market and whether your brokerage already pays for it.
This page splits what Inside Real Estate says officially from what other sites report, with dates. Then it compares BoldTrail to CRMs that do print a price, and gives you one number that matters more than the subscription: cost per worked lead.
Does BoldTrail publish its pricing?
No. Two official sources say so plainly.
The BoldTrail pricing page has zero dollar figures. The call to action is “Watch demo & get Pricing,” which is a form.
BoldTrail’s own blog post, BoldTrail Pricing: What It Costs and What You Get (June 5, 2026), is more direct: “BoldTrail doesn’t publish a standard pricing page with fixed monthly tiers.” The cost “varies based on team size, market, features selected, and whether you’re accessing the platform through a brokerage relationship or directly.”
The same post confirms three things worth writing down before the demo:
- BoldTrail “has historically charged an onboarding fee for setup and implementation support.” No amount given.
- BackOffice and Marketplace add-ons are priced separately.
- Eligible eXp Realty agents get BoldTrail through their brokerage. If you are at a brokerage like that, your first question is what you already have, not what to buy.
The only dollar figures in that post are for the stack BoldTrail says it replaces: separate IDX, CRM, email automation, landing pages and integration tools, totaling $250-$750 per month. That is BoldTrail’s framing of a fragmented stack. It is not BoldTrail’s price.
kvCORE and BoldTrail are the same product line. BoldTrail’s kvCORE vs BoldTrail post (April 7, 2026) says Inside Real Estate unified kvCORE, BoomTown and Brokermint under the BoldTrail brand in mid-2024, and that for most kvCORE users the move was “not a price-increase event,” but add-ons like BackOffice or the recruiting tool “may carry additional costs.”
What do third parties say BoldTrail costs?
These are reported figures. None are from Inside Real Estate. Treat them as a range to test your quote against, not a price.
| Source | Date on page | What it reports |
|---|---|---|
| The Close, kvCORE review | Updated Dec 17, 2024 | Pricing “only available with a live demo.” Online estimates $499-$1,800/month |
| InboundREM, kvCORE review | Mar 24, 2026 | Single user $299/month, team of 2-5 $499/month, 5+ agents $1,200/month. Says individual agents typically pay about $499 if their brokerage does not provide it |
| AI Tools Bakery, BoldTrail pricing | Sep 4, 2026 | Aggregated estimates: solo about $499, 5-10 users $499-$999, 25+ users $1,499-$2,500, enterprise $2,500-$5,000+. Setup about $999. Implementation $1,000 (1-10 users) to $5,000 (about 100 users) |
| Softabase, kvCORE | Feb 2026 | “Contact sales” on every tier. Agents from $500+/month. Brokerages with 50+ agents “often” below $25 per agent per month |
| StackScored, BoldTrail | Apr 21, 2026 | “Price unavailable” on all six modules listed. “Sales contact required” |
All pages seen October 26, 2026.
Read that table honestly. The solo-agent figures cluster around $499 a month, and many of the larger numbers trace back to a small number of buyer guides quoting each other. We could not open G2 or Capterra’s pricing pages for BoldTrail (both blocked our fetch), and we found no Reddit thread with a dated, itemized invoice. If you have a real quote, it beats everything above.
How is BoldTrail actually sold?
Think in four layers. Each one can move the number.
1. Who holds the contract. Brokerage and enterprise deals are negotiated. Agents at those brokerages may get BoldTrail as part of the package. Teams and solo agents buying direct get their own quote.
2. Seats and team structure. The Team add-on help article describes a basic team package for up to 15 users and a Multi-Team Plus upgrade for up to 50 users, 3 MLSs and up to 10 Smart Numbers. No prices are printed.
3. Onboarding. BoldTrail confirms an onboarding fee exists. Only third parties put a number on it (about $999 in the table above). Ask for it in writing.
4. Platform modules and Marketplace. The Marketplace tour lists what sits outside the base: BoldTrail Back Office, BoldTrail Recruit, Present, lead products like PropertyBoost, Leads 360 and retargeting, and engagement tools like Concierge Pro, Voicemail Drop and a Personal Smart Number. Paid lead generation means ad spend on top of the subscription.
None of those Marketplace pages print a price. Every line is a question for the rep.
How does BoldTrail compare to CRMs that publish a price?
Official pricing pages only, seen October 26, 2026. Starting prices, monthly billing unless noted.
| CRM | Starting price | What it includes | Extra costs printed | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BoldTrail (kvCORE) | Not published | Quote by seats, modules, market | Onboarding fee, BackOffice, Marketplace | boldtrail.com/pricing |
| Follow Up Boss | Grow $69/user/month. Pro $499/month. Platform $1,000/month | Pro: 10 users. Platform: 30 users. Calling and texting unlimited on Pro and Platform | Grow calling $39/user. Extra users $49 (Pro), $20 (Platform). Annual is cheaper | followupboss.com/pricing |
| Lofty | Not published | Agent, Team, Broker, Enterprise tiers | Power Dialer, lead gen, ads priced separately | lofty.com/pricing |
| Real Geeks | $399/month | 2 users, IDX site, CRM. 6 or 12 month term | $500 setup. Extra users $25 (3-10). Lead packages $299 or $599/month | realgeeks.com/pricing |
| Sierra Interactive | $299.95/month (Starter) | Essential $399.95, Growth $599.95 | $500 setup on monthly billing | CostBench, reported. Official page blocked our fetch |
| Wise Agent | $49/month ($42 annual) | Up to 5 team members | Extra 5-pack $20/month. SMS $11/month + $80 registration | wiseagent.com/pricing |
Two of six are quote only. That is the honest comparison: BoldTrail is not uniquely hidden, but it is the one with the most modules to price.

What does a Smart Campaign cost you when nobody calls?
This is the line that never shows up on the quote.
A new lead lands in BoldTrail. It enrolls in a Smart Campaign. The campaign sends an email and a text. The dashboard shows the lead as “being worked.” Nobody has dialed.
BoldTrail’s own help center says Smart Campaign email and text do not send outside Office Hours. A lead created Sunday night gets its first message the next office day. We walked through that behavior, with the help articles, in BoldTrail (kvCORE) AI calling.
The cost of that gap is not the subscription. It is every lead you paid to acquire, through ads, a portal or the BoldTrail Marketplace, that never got a live first conversation. Speed to lead research is blunt about the clock: the Oldroyd work associated a 5-minute response with far higher contact and qualify odds than 30 minutes. A next-morning campaign text is not in either bucket.
So the real question for the rep is not “what does BoldTrail cost?” It is “what does BoldTrail cost per lead that actually got called?”
What is your total monthly cost per worked lead?
Worksheet: cost per worked lead. Use last month. Same 30 days for every line.
- Subscription. Your BoldTrail invoice, all seats. $____
- Onboarding, spread out. One-time fee ÷ 12. $____
- Add-ons. BackOffice, Recruit, Concierge Pro, Smart Numbers, anything from the Marketplace. $____
- Lead spend. Ads, portal invoices, lead packages that feed BoldTrail. $____
- Calling cost. ISA wages, agent time, or a voice service on new leads. $____
- Total (1-5). $____
- New leads created. ____
- Worked leads. New leads with a live call attempt within 5 minutes and a note on the person record. Not a campaign email. ____
Cost per lead = line 6 ÷ line 7. Cost per worked lead = line 6 ÷ line 8.
A worked example, with made-up round numbers so you can see the shape: a $499 subscription, a $999 onboarding fee spread to $83, and $500 of ads is $1,082 a month. Sixty new leads looks like $18 a lead. If only 15 got a live call inside five minutes, the real number is $72 per worked lead. Same invoice. Four times the cost.
You cannot negotiate line 1 down by 75 percent. You can move line 8. That is why the calling line matters: at $199/month for 50 leads, mergro adds about $4 a lead to line 5 and is built to push line 8 toward line 7, day or night, with notes written back to BoldTrail. If you prefer a person, price an ISA on the same line and count the hours they cover. Either way, then run the held-viewing math with the cost per booked viewing calculator.
Common mistakes
Comparing a BoldTrail quote to Follow Up Boss Grow. Grow is $69 per user for the CRM. A BoldTrail quote usually includes an IDX site and lead tools. Compare the stack, line by line.
Forgetting the onboarding fee. BoldTrail confirms it exists. Get the amount and what it covers before you sign.
Buying Marketplace lead products before fixing the first call. More leads into a next-morning campaign is more leads wasted at a higher price.
Paying for BoldTrail your brokerage already provides. Ask your broker first. eXp agents, for one, get access through the brokerage.
Quoting a blog’s range to your partner as the price. Every number in the third-party table is an estimate. Your quote is the only price.
Counting “enrolled in a Smart Campaign” as worked. A campaign text is a receipt. A live call with a note is work.
